Hours in a Day for Genealogy Research

"There is not Enough Hours in a Day for Genealogy Research"

"That is Why it Takes Years to Learn Who What Where When and Why

Our Ancestors had no idea that in 70-100-200 years since their birth, someone would be looking them up...

...without a shovel, not to rattle their final resting place...

....rather to Honor them, extending their Life among the Living, passing on the Story of their Life to our Descendants and possibly that of Our Own Journey

May I be of Assistance with 22 years experience....D.R. "Doc" Young

AncestryDNA found Pres.Warren Harding Fathered

a child out of wedlock

AncestryDNA, a division of Ancestry.com has solved the rumor having a child out of wedlock with Nan Britton

Britton set off a scandal when she went public with her tale of forbidden love in the White House, boldly publishing her story in a 1927 best-selling memoir, "The President's Daughter." But historians long questioned her claims, and Harding defenders vilified her as a liar for nearly 90 years.

Elizabeth Ann Blaesing, was the only known offspring of the 29th president. She died in 2005.  Nan Britton died in 1991.

Another President's DNA testing confirmed Thomas Jefferson had a relationship with his slave Sally Hemings.

10 years later, most historians believe that, years after his wife’s death, Thomas Jefferson was the father of the six children of Sally Hemings mentioned in Jefferson's records, including Beverly, Harriet, Madison, and Eston Hemings.

New York Marriage Index 1866-1937

I cannot believe it after 10+ years with Ancestry .com finally this Database appears

"New York, New York, Marriage Index 1866-1937"

However. as you would have it/just my luck...

"This index is your first step to birth records from New York City, Kings County (Brooklyn), Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Richmond County (Staten Island)"

So I guess I have another 10+ years to wait, as it does not include Oneida or Saratoga Counties, NY
